MUTINA: RIVIVE LA CITTÀ SEPOLTA Nel 2017

Modena celebra i 2200 anni dalla fondazione della città romana. Una serie di eventi nella stagione primaverile - visite virtuali, street art, storytelling, rievocazioni e un coinvolgente urban game, anticipano i contenuti di una mostra che inaugura a novembre. L’esposizione presenterà un quadro completo delle attuali conoscenze su Mutina - dalla fondazione, allo splendore dell’età imperiale, al declino in età tardo antica - e metterà in luce l’eredità che quel passato ha lasciato alla città di Modena, dal Medioevo fino alle soglie della contemporaneità.

MUTINA: THE BURIED CITY COMES TO LIFE

In 2017 Modena celebrates the 2200th anniversary of the foundation of the Roman city. A series of events during the springtime - virtual visits, street art, story-telling, re-enactments and an engaging urban game will provide a taste of the content of an exhibition to be inaugurated in November. The exhibition will present a complete picture of what is currently known about Mutina - from its foundation to its splendour during the Imperial Age and its decline in Late Antiquity - and will bring to light the heritage that this past has left to the city of Modena, from medieval times through to the dawn of the contemporary age.

Nei fine settimana del 9,10,11 giugno e 1,2,3 settembre a Modena in centro storico e nel parco Novi Sad avrà luogo il festival del cibo di strada con food trucks, spettacoli e musica.
